The problem it addresses

Generic communication advice can hide the very thing a person needs help to see: power.

People facing coercion, betrayal, emotional abuse or confusing relationship dynamics are often told to communicate better, stay calm or consider both sides. That can obscure unequal power and leave the burden of sense-making with the person already carrying the harm.

Brenda & Frank helps users slow the exchange down, examine the actual words, notice omissions and patterns, and separate what the material shows from what is inferred.
